Should we plan on getting our books back in May or in the Fall?

This question is as old as yearbook publishing itself and there is no perfect answer.

Most public schools distribute their books in May because many of their students will either be graduated or in other schools the next school year. The problem with this is that you will need to finish your book in March or April, omitting any activities that happen after your deadline date.

On the other hand, if you publish for Fall delivery, you can include the entire school year (including graduation ceremonies) and submit your book in June or July. Your book will be ready in the Fall (this is what our group has chosen to do).
